A Little Thought I Have Regarding Samurai Jack
I’ve often wondered whether Tartakovsky would consider making a sequel to Samurai Jack’s 5th season.
Mainly to see whether Jack could somehow try to preserve Ashi’s existence, you know?
And yes, I’m aware of the alternate ending in “Samurai Jack: Battle Through Time”, but...
I mainly consider the game to be part of an alternate canon, not offical canon. It’s largely because, even though Tartakovsky was involved, the game doesn’t have as much of an establishment as the show. What was done in the finale of season 5 was done, and I don't believe anything could change that.
But, I’d be interested in seeing how Ashi’s existence could be preserved in a future season, and I think the game itself and the alternate ending would be a great inspiration for that. After all, who says that it wouldn’t be possible?
Also, I've been interested in seeing a season 4½, mainly to address the whereabouts of certain characters not featured in the fifth season, such as the thief in "Jack and the Labyrinth". Plus, I wouldn't mind seeing more in-depth stories exploring Jack's time training in different countries like they did with "Jack in Africa".
What do you guys think?
