Things that I Hope to See from Marvel in the Future

In all honesty, something that I’ve been hoping that Marvel would do is-like the upcoming Black Widow film-create more MCU installments that take place between “Captain America: Civil War” and “Avengers: Infinity War”. In my opinion, the two year gap between the two films opens a lot of opportunities, and there are several questions from Infinity War that I’m hoping could be answered.

For instance, I know that WandaVision is said to be taking place after “Avengers: Endgame”, but I’m actually hoping that the miniseries will take place in the two year time gap instead. It’s mainly because Wanda and Vision are shown to be together in Infinity War despite being on opposing sides, and I can’t help but want to see something that could address how that happened. The same with “Doctor Strange: In the Multiverse of Madness”, because considering the epilogue that the first Doctor Strange film depicted, I can’t help but think it’d be complicated to tell the story it was leading up to as one taking place after Endgame. Infinity War also showed Bucky Barnes living on a farm despite being put back into cryogenic sleep in Civil War, and it’s also mentioned in the former that he’s referred to by the Wakandans as the “White Wolf”. I can’t help but feel interested in seeing how this happened in a Black Panther sequel taking place before Infinity War.

I’m hoping that the third Guardians of the Galaxy film can take place before Infinity War, mainly to showcase one last appearance by Gamora considering her death in the latter. That, and I believe the kind of story the epilogue of the second film was leading up to would be something easier to tell as a prequel more than a sequel.

Likewise, I’ve been hoping to see a sequel or more to Captain Marvel that takes place before Guardians of the Galaxy, as I’m interested in seeing whatever happened to the world of the Kree and how Ronan the Accuser went from being a high ranking officer to a murderous rogue.

Finally, I’ve been interested lately in seeing a Thor film that’s a prequel to Ragnarok, mainly to address Thor’s personality change from someone very straight to an extremely laidback kind of guy. I'm also hoping to see a Disney+ miniseries that depicts Hulk's time on Ragnarok before reuniting with Thor.
