A Land Walking Octopus!
This is pretty weird. But yet, it's also really interesting.
Before I even saw this video here, I had no idea that there was a species of octopus in Northern Australia that could walk on land from time to time, mainly to get from rock pool to rock pool when hunting for crabs. I recently did some research to see if all octopuses could breath out of water, because that's what I thought at first. As it turns out, though, octopuses have gills just like fish would, but they can still stay on the surface for a short period of time.
But anyway, this octopus goes by the scientific name of Abdopus aculeatus, which I'm surprised no one had given it a simpler name as of yet, one that could be easier to remember and easier to pronounce.
