I really can’t deny it:
Ever since my childhood, music was something that’d always catch my interest whenever I’d watch movies or TV shows. I love watching & listening to musicals, of course. But, I also enjoy listening to film & television scores that aren’t part of musicals, and it wouldn’t matter what genre they’re a part of either. As I've grown over the years, my ear for music continually developed. I'd frequently note the human creativity behind the soundtrack & pick up on the music style, and this would immediately inspire me to find out who made the score.
Around last week, I frequently thought about who my top ten favorite film & television composers were. I was inspired to make a list showcasing exactly that, and I couldn’t get my mind off doing so. To create it, I first made a list of composers who scored the most movies & shows I’ve watched over the years, then I rounded out who to choose based on which composers’ works resonated with me the most. At first, it was a little challenging figuring out who I wanted to add, but the decision became much more easy to make as I thought it over more.
As with the other lists I previously made, there are some names I included as honorable mentions at the end, and I planned on incorporating five names. However, a few of the names I added are of composers who are related to each other, and I loved their works to where I arranged them in a set. There are eight names in total, but there two sets of relation-names & three singular names, so that should bring everything to the intended five in total.
